  This place has had a lot of money spent on it recently. As a building it's an improvement but unfortunately a lot of the stalls/kiosks are still unoccupied. It's a real shame, I remember when this place used to buzz with stall holders and activity.
  The food area is now very pleasant though, with a good selection of hot and cold ethnic and British foods for sale at very modest prices. Who can complain at two mugs of tea, a sausage and mushroom sandwich, and a ham salad sandwich for 6 quid. Kay sells the best cuppa in the city, made in a teapot and brewed properly. Far nicer than the ubiquitous tea bag dumped in a cup of hot water. That's no way to treat our national drink. Give the place the once over if only for a bite to eat.
